PCLINE - Who writes the various temple dedicatory prayers?
JOEL - Whichever prophet performs the dedication is the one responsible for receiving revelation for the content of the prayer. He no doubt accepts suggestions from other church leaders and most likely has others perform some research about the area and people who will attend the temple so he can incorporate some of that information as he contemplates what he will say in the prayer. He also has someone read over it to make corrections on grammar and spelling
