NONIE When you die it is my understanding that you are taught the gospel. Does this include being taught about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon?

JOEL - Those who did not have the opportunity to learn the gospel and be baptized into the Church in this life will be given the opportunity in the spirit world (1 Pet. 4:6, D&C 138). No specifics have been revealed as to the exact details of what will be taught; we can only assume that it will be everything that was available here on earth, sufficient to lead one towards salvation.

"These were taught faith in God, repentance from sin, vicarious baptism for the remission of sins, the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands,
And all other principles of the gospel that were necessary for them to know in order to qualify themselves that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. (D&C 138: 33-34)

This would most likely include Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. In fact Joseph Smith will probably be one of the teachers.

NONIE - Will you learn the answer to mysteries or things you didn’t know the answer to here on earth such as Who really shot JFK…..Did O.J. really kill his wife, Nicole……..etc…..etc…. or maybe you will lose your curiosity. Just wondering.

JOEL - I am certain more mysteries will be revealed but only those pertaining to the Gospel, scriptures, and God; not the things of the world. I suppose whoever teaches these people the gospel in the spirit world might discover such information if the confession of such acts were required for the repentence process. But other than that such things would be completely unimportant, in my opinion.
