JON - When we die and if lucky to be in the celestial kingdom. Will we be united with our Spirit Mother and Father and our Mortal Mother and Father. Can you give reference to that please.

JOEL - This earth will become the Celestial Kingdom for those who are exalted:

"And the redemption of the soul is through him that quickeneth all things, in whose bosom it is decreed that the poor and the meek of the earth shall inherit it. Therefore, it must needs be sanctified from all unrighteousness, that it may be prepared for the celestial glory; For after it hath filled the measure of its creation, it shall be crowned with glory, even with the presence of God the Father; That bodies who are of the celestial kingdom may possess it forever and ever; for, for this intent was it made and created, and for this intent are they sanctified. And they who are not sanctified through the law which I have given unto you, even the law of Christ, must inherit another kingdom, even that of a terrestrial kingdom, or that of a telestial kingdom." (D&C 88: 17-21)

'Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth." (Matt. 5:5)

If the Celestial Kingdom will have "the presence of the Father", I would assume that would also include Hevenly Mother as well. And if our mortal parents along with us are exalted then we will all be there together as well.
Actually there are no scriptures that directly state that we will even know each other in heaven. There are however, a few that suggest we will.

In Genesis we read:
"Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people" (Genesis 25:8).

The phrase "gathered to his people", sounds like he went to a place in heaven where there were people who knew him.

When David's child died, in his mourning he said:
"But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." (2 Sam. 12:23)

Daniel expected to be able to go to his child when he dies, which of course means he will recognize him when he sees him in heaven.

Paul speaks of “the whole family in heaven and earth” (Ephesians 3:15). If we are a family in heaven I assume we will know each other as family members know each other here on earth.
