Abraham-Hicks Law of Attraction

It is about letting the negative go,and focus on the positive, etc.
I dont' know who Abraham is? I don't know if you have heard of this. They are getting information from or channeling Abraham? The prophet? Just wanted to know if you've ever heard of this.

JOEL - Never heard of it, but according to the website:

"In 1985, Jerry and Esther Hicks began dialogs with Abraham, a name chosen by a group of nonphysical teachers, who deliver an inspirational message of joy and well-being."

So I guess it's not the prophet Abraham, but a group of spirits or invisible beings that are passing messages to the world through the Hicks, or so they claim. The messages they get from this "Abraham" appear to be harmless, but I question the method by which they are getting them and the source. Here's a link to a site that tells their story:

Here's a paragraph from the story:

"Meditation became a daily exercise for them both. After about nine months, in November 1985, Esther noticed that her head was moving around during these sessions. It was relaxed and pleasant. Then one day she realized what the movement was - her nose was writing in the air. She announced it to Jerry and immediately got waves of goose bumps - a feeling of intense pleasure. Then her nose spelled out "I am Abraham. I am your spiritual guide. I love you. I am here to work with you.
Each day for about two months, Esther spent about two hours translating for Abraham by the somewhat laborious means of nose movements. Then, one night in bed, Esther's hand began to thump on Jerry's chest. "That's not me" announced Ether, "It must be them"."

Pretty strange stuff. I think these messages from Abraham are coming from her own mind. It is deffinately not the way God communicates to man. But it did give her a good excuse for beating her husband :-)
