JON - I no that God the Father is all knowledgeable for he see everything as though it has already happened. **My Question is if Jesus Christ is all Knowledgeable?**
The reason I dont think he is, is because he himself does not no when the second coming is (mark 13:32) and he inquires of the Lord. But he is a God and as such it only makes sence that he knows everything. Please answer back with scriptural referances to either the bible or book of mormon.

JOEL - As far as we are concerned right now God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are all Gods and as such are all omniscient(all-knowing).
According to Nephi:

"But the Lord knoweth all things from the beginning; wherefore, he prepareth a way to accomplish all his works among the children of men; for behold, he hath all power unto the fulfilling of all his words. And thus it is. Amen." (1 Nephi 9:6)

There are many instances where Jesus demonstrated His omniscience. In Matthew we read:

"-when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
“He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
“Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. “Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.” (Matt. 17:24-27.)

To the woman at the well Jesus said:
"Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet." (John 4:16-19)

The woman thought He was a prophet because of what He knew.

And Peter proclaims that Christ knows all things:
"He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep."(John 21:17)

And according to some of our Church authroities Jesus is omniscient.
Francis M. Gibbons of the Seventy said:

"Not only does he fill these varied roles but, with the Father, he shares characteristics unknown to mortal men like the Prophet Joseph Smith. He knows all things and, therefore, he is omniscient; he has all power and, therefore, he is omnipotent; and through the Light of Christ, he is omnipresent. (Francis M. Gibbons, “The Savior and Joseph Smith—Alike Yet Unlike,” Ensign, May 1991, 32)

Elder Robert D. Hales said:
"We pray to our Father in Heaven in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the great Mediator. Though omnipotent and omniscient, all-powerful and all-knowing, He is our friend." (Robert D. Hales, “In Remembrance of Jesus,” Ensign, Nov. 1997, 24)

Now as to your question concerning Mark 13:32.
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."(Mark 13:32)

Here is the same scripture in Matthew:

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matt 24:36)

Notice the difference? The phrase "neither the Son" is not found in Matthew, noris it in Luke; and according to Joseph Smith should not be in the Mark scripture as well. The phrase is omitted in the Joseph Smith translation. (JST Mark 13:47)

If there is any doubt of the omniscience of Jesus while He was on earth we need to remember what He said in His prayer to His Father:

"And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (John 17: 5)

When Jesus condescended to come to earth and take on a body He lost some of the glory He had when He was with the Father. It is possible that this loss of glory may have affected the level of His all-knowing character while He was on the earth; something that would have only been temporary until His resurrection and assention back to the Father.

JON - It is writen that if a person expects the gospel in spirit prison the highest kingdom they can receive is terrestial. **My question is than why do we perform ordiances such as baptism for the dead and temple marriages for the dead so they can become exalted beings if that can not happen. Because once they die they would go to spirit prison to be taught the gosple thus only being able to advance to the terrestial kingdom.

JOEL - That's not quite right.
The Doctrine and Covenants tells us there are two types of people who are taught the gospel in spirit prison:

"Thus was the gospel preached to those who had died in their sins, without a knowledge of the truth, or in transgression, having rejected the prophets. (D&C 138: 32.)

A person who already had a good chance to accept the gospel in this life but doesn't and is then taught the gospel in spirit prison is the one who can only go to the Terrestrial kingdom.
The Doctrine and Covenants says these are those "Who received not the testimony of Jesus in the flesh, but afterwards received it." (D&C 76:71-79)
The words "received not" implies that it was made available to them in this life but they did not accept it.
All others who never even had a chance to hear and receive it in this life and are taught in the spirit prison can obtain the Celestial kingdom if their temple work has been done for them.

"Thus came the voice of the Lord unto me, saying: All who have died without a knowledge of this gospel, who would have received it if they had been permitted to tarry, shall be heirs of the celestial kingdom of God;
Also all that shall die henceforth without a knowledge of it, who would have received it with all their hearts, shall be heirs of that kingdom;(D&C 137:7-8)

Since we don't know who really had a good chance to accept the gospel in this life, we do the temple work for everyone and leave it to God to judge who it can apply to.
