JOEL - The Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only completely true gospel, because it was revealed to our prophets directly from God Himself. It is up to each individual to receive a witness from the Holy Ghost that this is a true statement.

JOCELYNE - What evidence do you have to validate your claims?

JOEL - No real physical tangible evidence exists, except for the fruits of what comes from the religion. There were no video cameras or film that show God the Father and Jesus Christ or the various angels appearing to Joseph Smith. We don't have the golden plates that the Book of Mormon was translated from. We have no affidavits or documents signed by God Himself proclaiming that this is the true gospel and church. There is no tangible way to make you see or experience the witness of the Holy Ghost that I have had. True Religion is not based on tangible evidence. It is based on faith and a system of beliefs and doctrines revealed from God through revelation and scripture. If it was based on tangible evidence it would be called a science instead of a religion.
The only ways to "validate" the claims is for you to experience the witness of the Holy Ghost yourself and to observe the good that comes from the religion. Jesus said, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." (Matt. 7:20)
Here is a partial list of the fruits of our religion that helps to validate its truthfulness and devine origin:

1. Happy, healthy, stable families.
2. Expressions of service and love to fellow man.
3. New scripture and revelations from God.
4. Church organization the same as Jesus established in the primative church.
5. Faith, repentence, baptism, and Holy Ghost.
6. Miracles and gifts of the spirit manifested.
7. Rejection and persecution by the wicked.
8. One of the fastest growing religions in the world. Missionary activity.
9. Millions of members dedicated to living and serving in the Gospel.
10. Millions of dollors worth of humanitarian aid distributed throughout the world.
11. Healing the sick through priesthood administrations.
12. Answers to life's questions. Why are we here? Where are we going? How do we get there? The plan of salvation.
13. A sense of love, devotion, and service to God.

JOCELYNE - What entices you, as a Mormon, to disregard other faiths?

JOEL - The witness I have had from the Holy Ghost validating my beleif and knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The happiness, stability, and sense of purpose it brings into my life that I do not see in the lives of many of those of other religions.
While I may disregard other faiths I do not disrespect them. All faiths have some elements of truth in them that are good.
